Job Summary
A postdoctoral position is available immediately to investigate the cellular and molecular signaling mechanisms in diseases and drug-induced pathways using state-of-the-art technology. The position will be part of a signaling center that will measure signaling pathways using advanced technology. Individuals with a Ph.D. and a strong background in signaling pathways are desirable. Knowledge of R Software and/or bioinformatics is not necessary but will be beneficial.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Knowledge: Intracellular signaling pathways, molecular and cellular biology, and use of advanced technology. Knowledge of R Software and/or bioinformatics is not necessary but will be beneficial.
Skills: Handling of human and rodent tissues, cell culture, Western blotting, DNA and RNA purification, real-time PCR, and immunohistochemistry.
Ability: Capable of working independently and in a dependable and reliable manner. Excellent capability as a team worker. Maintain precise records of the experiments in the lab notes. Excellent oral and written communication capability. Knowledge of cellular and molecular signaling and use of the R software is a bonus for this position.
